I bought the template and papers on sale from MSQC. I made mine 7x7 blocks to make it a large quilt. It works up to a 13 inch block I didn't have a problem with my points though. I made it with 30's fabric and white and I did use 9 1/2 yards of white. There is a lot of waste but I will use most of it on scrappy quilts. I have all the blocks completed but going to quilt it QAYG so waiting for the weekend to get fabric for backing and batting. I LOVE MSQC. I do prefer the smaller blocks though.
