My absolute favorite method to "fill in" the back is to make extra blocks or use the blocks that aren't quite good enough for the back and run a strip of blocks down the back.
That sounds awesome, I will keep that in mind for my next quilts. I have two lined up:
Yellow Brick Road and
Hopscotch. I am thinking that would look great with the Yellow Brick Road, and I am thinking maybe a few scattered or spaced blocks for the Hopscotch.
