I finished this top tonight and boy it made my eyes cross! The diagonal squares were tube pieced and cut on the 45 degree bias. I did the quilt math as I was falling asleep one night. My method was sound, my math was not, (oops!) so I ended up cutting a lot more squares than I originally intended. The overall top is 48"x72" (4'x6') with 4" squares. Thankfully I overbought fabric. I'm pleased with how this came out but I don't know that I'll do it again soon. There was a lot of ease in these seams for the points to match up.
No worries about God squares, there are plenty! Thanks for looking!
