Depends on how bad the scorch mark is. To a certain extent, the fabric is damaged - sort of like a sunburn on a human.
I think the only thing that removes scorch marks is a bleach of some kind. Marsha Kay suggested hydrogen peroxide. But like Bearisgray said the fabric is now damaged. Your quilt will wear through at that spot first. You aren't going to fix that. A sunburn heals, but not so with fabric. My best suggestion is to applique something over the scorched spot. You have a few cute ideas here. Good luck!
