While I think your quilt is absolutely precious, and is perfectly fine for a boy, i would probably want to make another one especially for HIM .
Having said that, I'll bet if you wrap that little sweetie up in the quilt already made, he will feel the love you stitched into it, and be perfectly content to claim it. Prayers going up for Michael Alexander.
