Your quilt is absolutely beautiful. The colors are so appealing to me. Trip Around the World quilts are special to me because of a family situation. When my husband and I were married 47 years ago his mother, her two sisters and a sister-in-law made a TATW for us. Then they decided to make one (single size) for each of their grandchildren! Ther was no piece of fabric in Terre Haute, Indiana that was safe from the scissors wielded by these ladies. I am sure they made 35 or 40 of them. My three sons used theirs to shreds! Such fond memories. That is what quilts are, aren't they-memory makers.
