If you don't have the tree in your Quick Reply toolbar, then go to the aqua toolbar near the top of this page. Choose 'Forum Actions', then 'General Settings'. Scroll way down to miscellaneous and mark 'Enhanced Interface full WYSIWYG editing'. Save changes and the tree should now be in your toolbar.
I'm interested in how to repair a broken foot pedal on a White treadle, too. JB Weld epoxy didn't hold for me.
