Here's my first block. Can you believe I created an inset seam for myself. Sometimes I TRY to make my life harder.
You can bet I won't do that again.
Anyway, I tested it with my dinner plates and it should be the perfect size without adding anymore to the edges other than the binding, which I will do in black. I usually bite off more than I can chew, so this is really fun making something manageable! Can't wait to do my next placemat.
