Yeah, I'm not going to deal with the item above.

Here in the DFW area people tend to think that a 100 year old machine that hasn't been serviced, missing parts, and unknown working condition is worth big bucks.

I found a CL singer ad, they had a vague description. I asked about the serial number and it ended up being a 1954 model 15. Looked ok in the picture. Description was as usual "unknown working condition" and they wanted $300.

I can't even imagine how to negotiate something like this.
