We do something similar. I saw this at Montanas once and we've done it ever since.

Use a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup and make your mini crisp the way you like it. I like straight apple crisp, or nectarine. DH likes straight apple or he'll throw other things like berries in or rhubarb during rhubarb season. We bake ours in the oven at 350 for about 35 - 40 minutes (but keep an eye on it, if it's browning too much, it might be done.) This way we both get exactly what we like. He usually finishes his in a sitting, mine is breakfast the next day.

Just leave some space at the top to catch the boiled bits.
