You answered your own ?. I have even put a piece of painters tape over the thread ends while quilting to keep them out of the way. And I can see where they are to bury them after I'm done quilting. Some people just take a few back stitches on the machine but I am not talented enough to make that method look neat on the back of the quilt. I like burying them.
