Great idea. I have a similar problem with stuff falling off the back of my sewing table. I use a 6 foot folding table for my serger and sewing machine. Behind the machines I have little containers for pens, scissors and one of those nesting paper holders stacked 3 high. Things seem to fall all the time into the windows and floor. I have to crawl under the table to get everything. I'm going to get a piece of corner molding at Home Depot and glue or nail it to the back edge of the table. The molding is about 1/2" deep. Maybe this will help someone.
