I don't know if I want to service any newer machines anymore, not after that Bernette!

Worse yet? I told her it's not worth fixing, so she left it with me. aggghh! I'll salvage the pedal and the bobbin case and try to hide it in the recycle bin or something.

It was evening and even with the lights on (I even put my new headlamp on) not the best lighting. I'm sure glad DH did not come in.
Another trick I find works ( but only on a good back day) is I lay on the floor, and look "across" it. all the dust bunnies and screws stand out because they're taller.

On a bad back day, if I'm unfortunate enough to be working on a machine,... I usually say forget it, I'll find it later and rob it from another machine if I need this one done fast. Yes, lots of my machines are waiting for me to find screws just so I could get one that doesn't belong to me off my bench.

What? Where were the magnets? I think I may have left one in that serger I worked on. LOL! I used it while I was working on the thing, and never saw it again. She said the machine works well though, I'm not going to mess with it.
Bandaids, those are another kid favorite. They don't even have to be hurt to need them.

We used to just keep the wind up ones around. They like them to a degree, but at least the batteries don't run out.
