For me it all depends. Once a month I try to limit my spending to $50. Includes estate sales. If I don't spend that, I put it into a stash for the next month. I'm saving for whatever. I don't know. Waiting for some batting to come on sale. My list always includes a couple yards of fabric (minimum) couple spools of thread and maybe a new notion. Always make sure I've got the appropriate coupons also. This week I will be looking for some black and a color. If there is a 1/2-1/4 yd left on the bolt, I take it and the bolt board. I just wrap the fabric back on it after I wash it.
