I just finished a rag quilt. Posted pictures on Monday. Definitely go to laundromat for washing, however I cleaned their machine out when I finished, their dryer also!! It does make a mess. I bought a pair of Fiskar's rag quilt scissors before I even started clipping the seams. Got them at JoAnn's with a 40% coupon so they were not expensive at all. I believe the "ragging" will continue for a couple more washings but I hope most of it is gone.
