When I was seeking a new machine I did a lot of online research. I wanted it to do certain things that my little lightweight machine couldn't. I started putting money aside like a squirrel with nuts for winter & after reading all the comments from owners of the ones I liked, I chose the Laura Ashley NX-2000 by Brother. It's an expensive machine, but I do not regret it for a second!! Do your research, go in knowing what you want & don't let the dealer push you in another direction.
