United Methodist Church in North Chili NY annual Quilt Show
Yesterday, my aunt and I went to this wonderful quilt show. The bonus was that there was a farmer's market on the church grounds at the same time. I tried to title each of the pictures but I couldn't read some of the labels with my less than perfect picture taking skills. If you hover over the picture, the information will show. This was a very pleasant surprise in the scope of the show. The church sanctuary was lined with many, many charity quilts that were delightful... I can only imagine the pleasure of the child receiving one of them They also had knitted and crocheted prayer shawls that were available to take to someone in need of one. At the end of the large display room was a delightful tea room with coffee, tea, punch and cookies. The tea was served in beautiful china/porcelain tea cups and saucers.
