Thanks for all the nice words. The quilt is 81 inches by 81 inches (9 inch blocks). I was able to joins the blocks in groups of 3 by 3 and then I had a giant 9 patch and connected the sections together into rows and then joined the 3 rows. It went together this way super easy. I have enough left over fabric (I used 65 different fabrics) that I have 2 more purple quilts planned. However, I needed a break from working with batiks and have put that fabric aside for a while.
