If you set up the printing options to have very large margins on one side and the top or bottom you can force it to print exactly where you want it on the page. Be sure to do a test print on plain paper first. You will have to do four at a time because usually once you cut off part of the sheet your printer will reject the partial sheet or worse yet, jam it up.

Another option is to look for MGI Photosuite, if that's still being made. It was an inexpensive printing program that had the best interface I've seen for letting you size and print things exactly where you want them on a page.

If a quilt is going to get a lot of washing, such as a baby quilt, I think it would be best to get an embroidered label. Permanent inks aren't quite as permanent as we'd like, in my experience.
