I just learned about Quilts of Valor yesterday and am interested in making a few quilts to donate. Has anyone ever done this before? Is the process fairly easy? Do you have to send the quilt to be longarmed, or can you quilt it yourself? The website is a little vague on how you sign up and who you send quilts to and so on. If anyone has done this, could you shed some light on the process for me. I've got a lot of former students in the armed forces and I would like to be able to support any military person.
