I have made hundreds of flying geese using EB method and I don't own any of her rulers. It is the only method that you can see that your seam is lining up properly and if it not, then you can make the tiny correction and you will have 4 perfect flying geese. It is a lot less waste then if you snowballed the corners (cut squares and stitch down the center). Now there is waste because you have to trim a 1/4" in from your seam. I have also made them in different sizes than her rulers would provide.
