I am going on a retreat in 2 weeks & need a 12" appliqued block pattern representing the month of July. Have searched all web sites that I know of & can't find anything appropriate except flowers. Look up the quilt pattern for "Home of the Free & the Brave". I think that's the name of the pattern. You might get an idea for something patriotic.
Or what about Sunbonnet Sue or Sam. Modify it to show one of them carrying a flag----------wouldn't have to have stripes showing or anything. Just something to look like a flag.
