We have had our Lizzie for only a few months. She is estimated to be less than 2 years old. Can you believe this sweet little beauty spend 60 days in the cage at Pet Smart where the local shelter cats are showcased? It was love at first sight, and we snapped her up from the jaws of death. Our other cat is a big gray and white female, also short haired. Both have been fixed, of course. I've had many cats through the years, but this is the first calico. Lizzie is loving and obviously very helpful as a quilting assistant. She makes us smile every time we see her. I'm glad my DH loves cats as much as I do. They always like him, too.
