My sister and I have a thing going in which we want to finish as many UFOs as possible before next year's quilt show. That is the same block. You'll find this block in dozens of patterns. This pattern was from a Fons and Porter magazine that our quilt guild just made. The entire quilt is the 54 - 40 or fight, just two different colors schemes. My coloring isn't very good. It's much prettier than this shows. Eleanor Burns has about three different quilts that use this block. It happens to be my favorite block.
