Default How do you prepare your quilt before it goes to the LAQ?

I have never sent out my quilts to be quilted, so this is new to me. I got tired of wrestling with FMQ on my old machine and I've never like the results. I've found a long-armer that is reasonably priced and lives close by, so I'm gonna give it a whirl. Other than her requirements, I'm feeling a little self-conscious about how the quilt top is made. I've enver had anyone look at the back side of my work. I've been busy clipping all of the loose threads, pressing, correcting those off points, etc.

What do you do to prepare your quilt top, batting , backing for professional quilting?

Thanks,
Cindy
