I sorta have a hierarchy of which project to do next. 1) Any kit (fabric + pattern) is to be done first, since the fabric and pattern are all ready I go for it. 2) What kind of fabric do I have in my stash? What kind of quilt could I make that would use the most of this stash? 3) When was the last time I really got excited about a quilt pattern I bought or saw? I dig up the quilt pattern and get a jump start with my previous inspiration. 4) If all else fails and my mind draws a blank, I go to a small project (table runner, bag, etc.) Getting myself sewing on a project usually gets me inspired about other projects.
