One Magazine BH, use to send me renewal notices a couple times a year. When I finally took time to read the label I discovered I was paid up for about five years. I stopped that one too.
I got burned like that a couple times, also, but my bank has a service that I use online so this won't happen again. It is Bank of America and the service is Shop Safe, in which I get a one-time number that ties to my credit card in the background without the merchant's knowledge. I set an amount and a number of months it is good for. I can get as many of these Shop Safe numbers as I want with no charge. Then when they send e-mails saying the credit card they have isn't working for my renewal (not ordered) I can ignore them.
