I finally broke down and bought a DeLonghi iron. It has a separate water tank. The iron is very light. No water in the iron itself. There is a long hose that goes to the separate water tank. I use it as a dry iron lots of times and it works perfectly well. If I want steam, I turn the steam button on and have steam, lots of it. This is the only iron I've found that I love. No leaks ever. Uses regular tap water only. Check out DeLonghi irons. You will never need to buy another iron again!
