BTW The girls are adorable! They warm my heart to see such cute kids.
Years ago, I taught 5th grade faith formation on Sunday afternoons. the class lasted 1 1/2 hrs and the last 15 minutes every week, we worked on quilts for the Christian Life Home in Raleigh. It is an unmarried mothers home, where girls and young women stay until their baby is born. We made simple shapes and either tied them or I quilted them once I got home. Usually gave anywhere from 6 to 12 every year to the home. It helps to do project like this, because there is always someone needier than us.:)
