JeanieG, I love your apple plans. Ours are ready to harvest, hope Thursday we can get to it. Forget about the falls, because the chickens quickly take the advantage and devour the apples, peaches, etc. Guineas enjoyed all the beet tops in the garden and every grasshopper they could catch. Ornamental peaches are getting ripe too and they make the best jam. (See, I am already thinking Christmas and gift boxes again!!

QuiltE, I told you I can confuse anyone. I thought I had an appointment at eight in the morning but luckily checked what the Dr. had written out for me and its 2:40 pm, so we have ample time to get there in daylight hours and home again. One step at a time, and they have to measure the eye before the surgery.
Dublb, its good that you are so near the finish on your old home. Good luck to you on selling it very quickly.
