I generally make a green tomato pie as a labor of love for my DH. I just use my favorite apple pie recipe. He enjoys it
the color is much the same as apples in apple pie. I still prefer plan old apple, but it's not bad. I think if I were just served it without knowing it was tomatoes instead of apples I probably wouldn't know the difference. Good Luck with your green tomatoes!!
