Jean rag quilt suggestion
When cutting squares from jeans for a rag quilt - group the pieces cut from each pair together - put them in a baggie, baste them together, binder clip them together -
I learned that "denim" comes in different textures and different colors - I like to make both sides of the quilt "patterned" - and it's easier to find "the same" pieces when they are grouped instead of just dumped into a container.
Sometimes the right sides of two pieces look the same - when I turn them over, they are different. So if you decided to sort them later (like I'm doing now) - check both sides of the pieces to see if they really are a match.
