I hate stacks of fabric. I don't care what method is used to fold it, it's still a stack of fabric. All of my yardage over a yard in length is on either coroplast or foam core boards. I think I got a bit more on each shelf with winding the fabrics on the boards than I did with stacks, plus it's tons easier to take a fabric off the shelf and put it back where it was.
I agree, also much easier to see what you have. 'cause every time I ruler folded and stacked, it seemed like there was allways one that got hid.
