Default Just an observation . .

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this.

When non-sewers photograph a sewing machine for a sale ad, they ALWAYS picture it from the back!?!?!?!?!?!?!

At least to me, that means that I can probably get it for a good price.

EXCEPTION - if of course the idiots who think that because their machine was purchased in the last 10 years and plastic, that it is ANTIQUE and worth 20x what it is really worth.

There is a guy on our local Craigslist that has a RARE ANTIQUE ONE OF A KIND SEWING MACHINE. He says it is the very first experimental motorized sewing machine. It is a Singer 15 in a treadle case with a motor added - not well - to the side of the machine with the control as a hand switch on the top. From the looks of it, you would have to sew really slow or it would take two people to run it.

And the SLASHED price he is asking now after 7 months for sale - $1800.00.

I wonder if it is looking for a bridge to buy?!?!?!?!?
