One of the savings from buying batting by the roll is that you can cut off the length you need. Prepackaged batts are hardly ever just the right size for me. I store mine in the box it comes in, in a spare bedroom. I have always received free shipping from JoAnn's, direct to my door, or have occasionally purchased the entire bolt at the store.
