Well...I had a "slip up" at a church charity store on Saturday....there was a partial bolt of unbleached calico ($1.00 who could resist that), plus a metre or so of quilting fabric/scraps so for a grand total of $3.00 I did well. Did get stronger yesterday...on the way home from my Employment Agent I called in at Textile Traders and didn't buy any fabric - despite some heavily discounted fat quarters and some very cool batiks....I just came away with two packs of handquilting needles and a metre of fusible (20% discount). So I am getting stronger and concentrating on finishing two quilts and making some "stashbusters".
