My Editor Lite is no longer supported and will not run on Windows 8 - so I keep XP loaded on my desktop computer just for embroidery. Also are you aware that you will have to run the software through your computer and download the designs to your sewing machine via a cable. Bernina 430 and 440 do not have usb slots.
I didn't check the version but I am so pleased to have been able to buy the embroidery unit for a reasonable price I am not really worried. I live in France, bought the embroidery unit from a lady in MI and she shipped it to a friend of mines house in Houston who is going to bring it back in her hand luggage and I will pick it up from her in Luxembourg. So how is that for travelling all over, lol, especially if the unit was made in Switzerland.
