You know Leslee, I’ve never ceased to be amazed by your work (stands up to applaud), and truly you are the inspiration to my own rough attempts in the craft; but truly you advance quilting into art, and one which I can only gaze from afar at.

When I saw you working on the beauties at work and my heart stopped. Looking through the net, I think I’ve spotted the two sights you mentioned:

http://www.lenzula.com/pattern/free/nyb.php

http://quilterscornerclub.tripod.com/free_ny_new_york_beauty_quilt_block_patterns.html

Of course, in the end, I’ll surely dabble in this only because I admire the work you’ve done so much. I went ahead and read the basic directions on both sites, but don’t really understand the inner workings and machining. Heck, I’ve barely scratched the surface of the Hawaiian quilting you introduced me to; once again, due to your beautiful work I can’t wait to get to New York Beauties.

Could you please do me a favor and post the really colorful piece you’ve been working on at work so these folks can see it? Also, make the picture larger so they can really come to appreciate what you are doing; the points are amazing.
