I am a beginner machine embroider and I have been searching some of the archives for "threads" on different embroidery threads & supplies that everyone uses, what they like, favorite brands, favorite types (rayon vs poly). There are plenty of digests on different machines, but would like to know what you embroiderers out there prefer and possibly get some good referrals for reputable sites for buying supplies and thread.
I have a Brother Quattro 2- 6700D with PE-Next software (way over my head) and using Madeira Rayon and an "offbrand" poly for now. So far everything is good, and I'm on a slow learning curve, but really enjoying it and looking forward to putting some embroidered blocks into quilts, and doing some great labels.
I do frequent EmbroiderLibrary...love it, and a few others, but boy...it's easy to get lost in the sites
..so many goodies.
