This is my second year quilting, so it's all stash. When i buy something i just love i try to get four or five fabrics together. On the other hand, sometimes i fixate on a theme and just collect them as i see them. Most of my fabrics are grouped and ready to be cut and put together, once i decide on a pattern i like. Then there are the kits. Connecting threads has wonderfully priced kits so I'll make one for a swap and then have the pattern to make it again later.
