Your hard work shows but I know those centers can be such buggers! I finally started sewing from the middle point and am getting better results. It's easier to get the bulk on the right side of the needle so it doesn't get pushed under it.
great tip! I am going to try starting in the center & working my way out to each side on the next one! thinking about it that makes perfect sense now!
