I have never done any hand quilting; but I love using both my walking foot and my FMQ foot. I sometimes use my FMQ foot to stitch in the ditch because it is easier for me to move the quilt around using it. I am so enjoying quilting even though my machine has a small throat space. I am finally getting to the point that I think my FMQ looks good.
