I actually did another one based on this pattern but used very thin (1/4in) wide black strips between each of the fabric strips. The strips are a blue/green/brown bali pop dont remember the name. The name of it is beach glass, cause it looks so much like beach glass. Anyhow, there is actually a stunning secondary pattern you dont see in this quilt that that one with the small strips brings out. Once I get it quilted I will photograph it and post
