This is becoming a habit with a lot of quilters. The reason is because stealing quilts, especially those that are mailed, has become very profitable. If you add the label and then quilt, it becomes pretty impossible to remove the label without messing up the stitches and ruining the quilting. Most thieves won't want to mess with that. It's sad that there are people out there who would steal like this. :thumbdown:
It really depends on the quilt and the label as to where I put it. I usually add it to the right side on the back, but I've used both corners and on my latest quilt it is toward the middle. It just depends on the quilt and my mood as to where it gets placed. :wink:
