There is nothing more thrilling than giving in to the uncontrollable urge to start making a new quilt top, digging through pictures and fabric stash and getting on with it. No, I don't feel guilty about the half-dozen or more completed quilt tops stored away in plastic boxes, patiently awaiting their batting, backing, and quilting. I'm too much of a control freak to send them to someone else to quilt, though. I don't even feel guilty about taking years to get my hand quilted ones completed.
