The problem you people have is that you iron. I mean clothes and stuff. I iron when I sew, and only when I have too. I have a large 2ft by 4ft surface for that. Now don't get me wrong, I don't send my husband out without ironed shirts. He wears knit (lol) just kidding, his shirts are ironed. I taught him how to iron them years ago. He likes it. If I sneak a few of my shirts in amongst his shirts he irons them too. And he can buy any size ironing board he wants to. And any iron. Psst, can you tell I hate to iron.
