I'd probably tuck it in the refrigerator for a couple weeks and see if the moisture helps restore it. Even if that makes it less brittle, I'd probably only use it for hand-stitching on something that wouldn't get heavy use. And I agree with everyone else -- it would be lovely on display. I'm jealous LOL!!
