I spent yesterday sewing a fun little apron for my grandchild. what should have been a one hour job took me all afternoon. I didn't have a pattern. I didn't know what size to cut it as I have not met her and my son couldn't give me a clue to what height she was.. dunno was his answer! argh pirates.. so I cut, I sewed , I worried.. it was a bit scary for me I want it to be right. she is 8. her birthday she says is going to be great because FINALLY she will be allowed to wash dishes. yup that is what she is most excited about for her birthday. so an apron to keep her clothes clean but I think that excitement will end soon lol.. shoot its surely ended for me!
