First prepare the handle by sewing the 2 strips right sides together on the 2 long sides, leaving both ends open. Sew with the batt underneath so it is sewn in....turn right sides out. Top stitch if desired along the long edges. Pin it to the center of the one 10 inch piece of fabric and then lay the second 10 inch piece on top.
