I have a Brother Project Runway I bought on sale at Walmart for less than $100 about 4 years ago. It sews like a dream and has never given me any trouble. The feed dogs drop and it came with a walking foot and a free motion foot. I have hemed jeans with it and I made a throw out of jeans using it and it never missed a beat on either project. If it broke, I would buy another one.
